(1/14/10)  On February 1, 2010, the University of Dallas School of Ministry will host a panel discussion titled “The Identity of a Catholic University.”  The discussion will focus on the commencement address delivered by Bishop Kevin Farrell of the Dallas Diocese at the University’s May 2009 commencement ceremony.  Much of Bishop Farrell’s talk was devoted to meditating upon Pope Benedict XVI’s Address to Catholic Educators, given at The Catholic University of America in April 2008.  The University of Dallas is featured in The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, now a free online resource, for its strong Catholic identity.  Source: University of Dallas
